Wir freuen uns den Zuschlag für die District Championships erhalten zu haben. 1 Jahr nach unserem aller ersten Casual Turnier, dürfen wir nun schon ein offizielles Turnier ausrichten. Aufregend. Glücklicherweise konnten wir auch eine großartige Location für die DC finden.

Mehr Informationen folgen in den nächsten Wochen.

Hier die Hard Facts bisher:

• Es werden 6 Runden Single Sided Swiss (40min. time slots) gespielt. Danach folgt ein Top Cut aus wahrscheinlich 2 Runden
• Wir haben zwei Räume in der Location von 10-21 Uhr. Danach kann aber noch open End an der Bar und in den großen Räumen abgehangen werden
• Neben den DC Preisen, werden wir auch noch zusätzliche Participation Prizes aushändigen können :)
• Wir peilen eine 1-stündige Mittagspause an. Wenn ihr mögt, können wir Euch auf eine Bestellliste für Pizza mit aufnehmen.

Aufgrund der Räumlichkeiten sind wir leider auf 30 Personen beschränkt.
Die Teilnahme an der Veranstaltung wird zwischen 8-13€ kosten. Es gibt eine Bar für Getränke am Veranstaltungsort. Eigene Getränke und Snacks dürfen in unseren Räumen konsumiert werden. Ein paar Snacks werden wir vorher einkaufen.

Awareness & Code of Conduct
Wir möchten, dass sich alle auf unserer Veranstaltung sicher und wohl fühlen. Wenn du dich unwohl fühlst, eine unangenehme Situation erlebst oder Unterstützung brauchst, kannst du dich jederzeit vertrauensvoll an den TO (sciurus_vulgaris) wenden.
Vorfälle wie Belästigung, Diskriminierung, Einschüchterung oder Gewaltandrohungen nehmen wir ernst. Solche Verhaltensweisen können zur sofortigen Disqualifikation und zum Ausschluss von der Veranstaltung führen. Wenn du so etwas erlebst, wende dich bitte direkt an den TO. Unser Vorgehen richtet sich nach dem Code of Conduct von NSG.

Dear Runners,

We are delighted to have been awarded the District Championships. One year after our very first casual tournament, we now have the opportunity to host an official tournament. Exciting! Fortunately, we have also found a great location for the DC.

More information will follow in the coming weeks.

Here are the hard facts so far:

• There will be 6 rounds of Single Sided Swiss (40-minute time slots). This will be followed by a top cut of probably 2 rounds.
• We have two rooms at the location from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. After that, you can still hang out at the bar and in the large rooms until closing time.
• In addition to the DC prizes, we will also be able to hand out additional participation prizes :)
• We are aiming for a 1-hour lunch break. If you like, we can add you to an order list for pizza.

Due to the size of the venue, we are unfortunately limited to 30 people.
Participation in the event will cost between €8 and €13. There is a bar for drinks at the venue. You are welcome to consume your own drinks and snacks in our rooms. We will buy a few snacks beforehand.

We want everyone to feel safe and comfortable at our event. If you feel uncomfortable, experience an unpleasant situation, or need support, you can always contact the TO (sciurus_vulgaris) in confidence.
We take incidents such as harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or threats of violence seriously. Such behavior can lead to immediate disqualification and exclusion from the event. If you experience something like this, please contact the TO directly. Our approach is based on the NSG Code of Conduct.
