What to bring:

  1. Decks. One corp, one runner. Decks must be Standard legal. Cards must be sleeved in opaque sleeves. If some of your cards are alt arts, please bring normal copies if you are worried they may not be tournament legal (see organized play policies, appendix III.
  2. Decklists. During registration we will collect decklists. Either bring a physical copy (printouts from NetrunnerDB work perfectly) or upload your decklist from NetrunnerDB onto the tournament software (the link to this will become available during the registration window). For more details on decklists, see organized play policies, section 2.1.
  3. Tokens, Playmats, the things you need to play the game.
  4. Extra sleeves in case one of yours gets marked or breaks during play.

This is an NSG sanctioned, competitive event. We expect all competitors to follow the NSG code of conduct. The community is the best part of netrunner, let's keep it that way!

FAQ:

What's single-sided swiss? How many games do I play per round?
Single-sided swiss means that each round, you are paired up against another player and assigned a side to play. During the round, you will play 1 game of netrunner, playing the assigned side. Winning the game gets you 3 points, a tie gets you 1 point, losing gets you 0 points. Both the number of points and the number of games you've played on each side determine your opponent in subsequent rounds.

What happens if time is called and we're still playing?
The active player finishes their turn. If the game is still going, the other player gets one more turn. If the game still isn't decided, the player with the most agenda points wins. If both players have the same number of points, the game is tied.

Are proxies legal?
Yes, proxies are legal at every NSG tournament. Proxies may be in black and white or in colour. Proxies must be indistinguishable from the rest of the cards in your deck (ie, no protruding paper, must have the same thickness). Hand-written proxies are not allowed. Certain alt-arts, while very cool, are not tournament legal; generally, they should not be misleading and should be easily legible. For more information on proxies and alt arts, see organized play policies, section 2.3 and appendix III.
